Fair Usage Policy
VisiHost operates shared hosting environments where physical server resources (CPU, RAM, Disk I/O, Network) are distributed among multiple tenants. This Fair Usage Policy (FUP) ensures that no single user negatively impacts the performance of others on the same node.
1. CPU & Processing Usage
While we provide high-performance processors, continuous maximum utilization of CPU cores on shared plans is prohibited.
- Scripts or game servers that consistently pin CPU usage to 100% for extended periods without dropping are considered abusive.
- Cryptocurrency mining, distributed computing (e.g., Folding@Home), or malicious brute-forcing scripts are strictly banned and will result in immediate termination.
2. Bandwidth & Network Traffic
Unmetered or high-bandwidth plans are subject to reasonable fair use.
- Network speeds are shared. Sustained maximum port speed saturation (e.g., running public file mirrors, Tor exit nodes, or malicious network scanners) is prohibited.
- If your bandwidth usage threatens node stability, we reserve the right to throttle your network port or suspend the service until the issue is resolved.
3. Disk Space and I/O
Storage provided with your plan is intended for active server files, databases, and necessary configurations.
- Using game servers or bot hosting plans purely as backup storage dumps, media streaming archives, or file-sharing platforms is prohibited.
- Excessive Disk I/O operations that degrade the SSD/NVMe performance for other users (e.g., rapid, continuous database writes) may require you to upgrade to a dedicated VPS or bare-metal server.
4. RAM & Process Limits
Services are hard-capped to their allocated RAM limit.
- Attempting to bypass memory limits or running "fork bombs" will trigger automated suspension.
- If your application frequently crashes due to Out of Memory (OOM) errors, you must optimize your code or upgrade your plan.
5. Abuse Response
If a service violates this Fair Usage Policy, VisiHost will:
- Automatically throttle or restart the offending container.
- Issue a warning ticket to the account owner.
- Temporarily suspend the service if the behavior continues.
For persistent issues, the customer will be asked to upgrade to a dedicated resource plan or face permanent termination.
